Electric Light Awesome

Does nobody listen to ELO anymore? I brought up their song "Telephone Line" last night in a conversation with friends and acquaintances. Nobody had a clue what I was talking about. Has my generation no appreciation for the mellow electronic pop of the late 70's?

YOUR generation probably greatly appreciates the Muzak-ish awfulness that was Electric Light Orchestra. WE don't so much recall the late 1970s. How were they? Did everybody sport giant sideburns? Was everything really covered in shag carpeting?

Everyone knows there's only one good ELO song.

And it's the Xanadu one. Or Don't Bring Me Down.

Whiskers, I'm only 4 years older than you. I would suggest that we're part of the same generation.
